Swiss Alps Winter XXII

Posted by
Stefan (Amlikon-Bissegg, Switzerland) on 17 March 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Early morning at 06:30 AM the sun came up behind the mountain and iluminated the area "Saemtisersee" near Appenzell. It was frozen cold at minus 18 degree Celcius and I was completely lonely at this time. I walked through the darkness for about one hour really deep up to this wonderfull place, where I'm alot during spring, summer and fall. But I never was at the winter time up to this place.

After a short walk to the west, the sun started to shone the mountains resplendent in the morning sun. The exposure started to work and the contrast changed now on the picture.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my photoblog and I love to read your comments.
